DAVID A. LIBRA
Attorney
David A. Libra practices in the areas of real estate, business law, and estate planning and probate. He represents companies and individuals in commercial and residential real estate, including purchases, financing, and commercial leasing. He also has extensive experience in organizing businesses, negotiating commercial contracts, estate planning for business owners, and handling probate administration matters.
David has been privileged to counsel many clients on a wide variety of successful real estate and business transactions and to promptly, effectively, and economically represent his clients' interests. By listening to and understanding their business concerns, David is able to accomplish the best possible results for his clients.
David is a Certified Real Property Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and is a member of the Real Property Sections of the Minnesota and American Bar Associations. David has for many years been rated "AV," the highest available peer review rating, in Martindale-Hubbell, and he has spoken at many continuing legal education seminars on real estate law and commercial leasing.
David has been named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list as one of the top lawyers in real estate law in Minnesota. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from many practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. Only the top 5 percent of attorneys in Minnesota are included in the annual Super Lawyers list.
David graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and the U.S. District of Minnesota.
David is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He also participates as a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Minnesota Multi Housing Association.
David lives in Mendota Heights where he was a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission for over twelve years. He has been involved in coaching various youth sports, served as the President and a Board member for several youth sports organizations, and participated on the local School District's Community Education Advisory Committee.
